Overview

Our client is an award-winning company of Environmental and Engineering Specialists who undertake site investigations, land contamination risk assessments, geotechnical engineering surveys, flood risk assessments, amongst other surveys, and have years of expertise in adopting a pragmatic approach to complex engineering challenges. They are looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to manage and implement complex geotechnical projects, based out of their London office. Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry background
  • Industry relevant degree
  • Track record of undertaking software modelling for raft foundation analysis and Ground Movement Assessments, using the Oasys P-DISP and X-DISP software packages
  • Background in the preparation of Ground Movement Assessment reports for buildings (suitable to successfully undergo audits for a London Borough) and infrastructure such as major utilities and railways
  • Able to implement training for junior and intermediate geotechnical staff in the use of the packages, and the subsequent reporting, with a view to checking and approving reports prepared by other members of the team
  • Background and confident in a client-facing role
  • Slope Stability Assessment and analysis using slope analysis software
  • Detailed geotechnical design
  • Preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports / Geotechnical Design Reports
