Job description

The Technical Department at AllSaints is responsible for the fit and quality of all AllSaints products. We work closely with Design to execute their creative vision while maintaining the quality and consistency of AllSaints’ products, ensuring the brand remains an iconic and high‑quality label.

As an experienced Garment Technologist you will report to the Head of Technical and build a tight knit relationship with Design, PD, Buying, Pattern Room Teams and Vendors to maintain high quality and on‑brand products.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Senior Technologists while reporting directly to the Technical Manager
  • Provide and present data reports so Team and Vendor performance can be monitored and improved
  • Hold weekly team meetings to ensure CP deadlines are on track and business objectives are met
  • Manage the Production Sealing Tracker and ensure sealing deadline targets are met in line with the Company CP
  • Guarantee that fit is consistent across the collection and that garment quality meets AllSaints standards
  • Manage the block development process and keep the Block Library continually assessed and updated
  • Support Design and Development Teams to achieve the AllSaints aesthetic
  • Organise and manage fit meetings with all relevant teams
  • Ensure tech packs are updated with fit comments, specifications and vendors are informed inline with the CP
  • Collaborate with the Technical team to produce high‑quality, uniform garments across all categories, reducing faulty returns
  • Manage risk assessment of products in close collaboration with Product Development, Production Teams and Vendors
  • Monitor and advise on safe operating standards essential in manufacturing
  • Embrace digital technology (3D fittings, VC fit meetings)
Qualifications
  • Solid multi‑product technical background, preferably with experience working on leather garments
  • Passion for all things technical when creating good quality garments
  • Excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern amendments and production requirements
  • Background within a commercial and design environment
  • Understanding of garment grading and vertical retailing
  • Clear understanding of the design aesthetic of AllSaints
  • Creative and analytical approach to ensure AllSaints remains an iconic high‑quality brand
  • Team player who collaborates, directs, motivates and develops others within the team
  • Outstanding organisational skills, prioritising with ease and strong time‑management skills
  • Attention to detail is key in this fast‑paced role
  • Advanced or intermediate MS Office skills
