Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting and/or Auditing.
  • CPA or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

6 month fixed term contract

This position will be either remote in a European location or based out of the one of the Companies European offices. The Senior Financial Accountant will be hands‑on and will be responsible for providing management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, reviewing fluctuations, and monitoring financial transactions and changes to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to respond to questions and special requests from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. It is essential that the Senior Accountant be accountable, detail oriented, and adaptable to ensure deadlines are met timely and with a high degree of accuracy.

What You Will Do
  • Lead statutory financial statement reviews (including reviews and input required for US consolidated year end accounts), balance sheet and income‑statement analysis, and provide required signoffs to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Support internal and external audit cycles by preparing business explanations, flux analyses, and documentation, ensuring timely and complete responses.
  • Oversee key financial processes including SOP reviews, KPI reporting, intercompany analysis, and ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
  • Partner with technical accounting and cross‑functional teams to implement process changes, improve efficiency, and lead business improvement projects.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting and/or Auditing
  • CPA or equivalent
  • Quantitative aptitudes and experience in building scalable solutions and processes to solve problems, strengthen internal controls and increase quality
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
