Senior Finance Business Partner - £75,000 to £80,000 - Loughborough

Are you a commercially focused finance professional looking to step up into a more strategic, business-facing role with real progression potential?

We're recruiting for an innovative, well-backed manufacturer based in Loughborough, offering a newly created Senior Finance Business Partner position. The role has been designed to evolve into a No.2 to the Finance Director, ideal for someone with ambition, drive, and a track record of delivering impact beyond the numbers.

While this is primarily an office-based role, the business offers flexible working hours and occasional home working, giving you the freedom to manage your time effectively, whether that's being home for a delivery, navigating school runs, or carving out focused time to deliver high-impact work.

The Opportunity

This is a high-visibility role, with ownership of business partnering, reporting and commercial finance initiatives. You'll work closely with senior leadership and influence how financial insight shapes strategic decisions across the organisation.

Your focus will be on:

• Managing, mentoring and upskilling the business partnering team
• Leading business partnering across key divisions
• Developing the FP&A and reporting function for leadership
• Providing commercial insight to support growth and operational strategy
• Shaping finance's role across the business while mentoring a small team

There's clear headroom to grow, the current structure leaves open the path to step up into a true No.2 position over time.

The business is on the cusp of a significant growth phase, moving from R&D to commercial delivery, and backed by a global parent group with no funding concerns.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
• A Strong and tested people leader
• Strong business partnering experience in a commercial setting
• Ideally from a manufacturing, engineering or similar environment
• Comfortable using ERP systems and advanced Excel (Power BI is a plus)
• A strong mentor and communicator with a proactive mindset

You'll need the confidence to operate with autonomy, the curiosity to challenge and shape, and the agility to adapt to a business that's evolving quickly.
