Overview

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a market leading manufacturing business based in Livingston in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a hands-on finance role where you'll be the go-to person for all things costing and financial analysis. You'll manage a small team of 2 direct reports and be a key figure in the finance function. You'll work closely with the operations team to understand the numbers behind the business and help drive profitability. Manufacturing experience is essential, candidates without manufacturing are highly unlikely to be considered. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package including hybrid working. Our client is ideally looking for a quick start so if you are immediately available or available at short notice that would be a big bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a team of 2 accountants
• Leading product costing across all manufacturing lines
• Analysing variances and identifying cost savings opportunities
• Supporting monthly reporting and business reviews
• Working with operations managers on budgets and forecasts
• Getting involved in new product launches and pricing decisions
• Playing a key role in finance function strategy and decision-making

Essential Experience

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or strong part-qualified with experience
• Manufacturing finance background - ideally 4+ years
• People management experience - comfortable leading and developing a small team
• Strong costing experience (standard costing, variance analysis, cost modelling)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good communicator who can work with non-finance teams and senior stakeholders
• SAP or similar ERP experience
