Michael Page is working with a global leader in advanced technology solutions to recruit a Finance Analyst for their North West Europe region (UK, Israel & Ireland), which generates approximately £100M in external revenue.
Description
- Act as Finance Analyst for the Israel branch, managing monthly reporting, revenue and cash forecasting, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
- Liaise with outsourced accountants and remote teams to ensure accurate filings and adherence to group policies.
- Support UK financial reporting processes, including month‑end close and year‑end audit.
- Prepare statutory accounts, tax analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead efficiency and control documentation projects within the NW Europe finance team.
- Drive global transformation initiatives and support SAP implementation for the Israeli entity.
Profile
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Complex Financial Reporting & Systems:
Independently managing financial reporting tasks using Excel and financial systems (e.g., Oracle Onyx, SmartView, SAP). Ability to ensure accuracy through robust checks and reconciliations.
- Business Partnering & Remote Collaboration:
Reviewing and challenging financial results in a business partnering context, particularly when working with remote or outsourced teams.
- Ownership & Initiative:
Taking responsibility for finance tasks or projects with minimal guidance, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Accounting Standards Application:
Applying IFRS principles (including IFRS9, IFRS15 & IFRS16) in practice to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
Preparing and reviewing reconciliations, validating account balances, and investigating discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Month-End Reporting:
Managing the full month-end process, including trial balance review, adjustments, and preparation for consolidation.
- Audit Support:
Assisting with audit processes and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance and readiness for external reviews.
Qualifications
- Ideally Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle EPBCS/FCCS/SmartView or similar systems is advantageous.
- SAP experience preferred; Hebrew language skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
