Qualifications

  • A flair for sales and the desire to pursue a sales career.
  • Experience of working in a film distribution environment.
  • Previous experience of management and mentoring.
  • Proactive, self–motivated, efficient and organised.
  • Proven record of accurate commercial forecasting of films on release.
  • Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
  • The ability to create strong client relationships that can survive weekly negotiations.
  • Good communications skills both written and oral.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team.
  • Good attention to detail, coupled with accuracy and numeracy skills.
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility to cope with ever-changing demands from one release to the next.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture long-lasting trading relationships with clients.
  • Negotiate ongoing film rental levels with key clients.
  • Conduct ongoing internal analysis on film rental values for negotiations.
  • Liaise with Sales Director for commercial decisions regarding film products.
  • Provide support to Sales Director, Finance, and MD in commercial analysis.
  • Manage Sales roles in team, set sales targets, and support in delivery.
  • Act as Sales Lead on select Universal releases.
