A leading university in Scotland seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Faculty Administrator to support the Faculty's executive leadership. The role involves diary management, budget oversight, and administrative support for academic processes. Candidates should possess HND level education or similar experience, strong communication skills, and high IT competency, including with SharePoint and Microsoft Office. The position allows for flexible working arrangements, primarily on campus three days a week.

A post has arisen in Strathclyde Business School for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Faculty Administrator (SFA). The SFA will work closely with the Executive Dean, Vice‑Deans, and the Faculty Manager to support the work of the Faculty.
This is a diverse and fast paced role with responsibility including providing complex diary management, extensive senior committee management, budget management, and management of processes including the Academic Promotion Process and Visiting/ Honorary appointments for the Faculty. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team who work closely with the academic leadership of the Faculty and whose aim is to provide a high-quality service to the Faculty, and its Departments, as well as the wider University. You will interact with key internal and external contacts at all levels, be an excellent communicator and an independent thinker. You will provide high level administrative support and contribute as part of a team in a way that enhances the Faculty's internal and external efficiency, effectiveness, and reputation.
To be considered for the role you will be educated to a minimum of HND level or have equivalent relevant professional experience. You will have the ability to work with minimal supervision to prioritise and manage a diverse portfolio of activities whilst providing excellent administrative leadership and customer service. This post requires excellent communication and writing skills, as well as a high level of IT competency including SharePoint and Microsoft Office packages.

Happy to talk flexible and agile working. Staff are normally expected to work on campus for a minimum of three days per week depending on business needs (including that of the Executive Dean), with home working and other agile arrangements available.
