Qualifications

• Prior bidding experience specifically related to research laboratories.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and high-tech manufacturing sectors.
• Experience with UK government bidding and NEC4 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety procedures are built into tender methodologies.
• Support the training and development of Estimators and Assistant or Graduate Estimators.
• Log and manage all tender documentation.
• Prepare subcontractor enquiry schedules.
• Assess package requirements for fixed price tender settlement.

Skills

Good working knowledge of NEC, ICE and ICC forms of contract

Experience in using Conquest or similar estimating software

Analytical and numerical ability

Knowledge of estimating processes

Education

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

Valid CSCS card
