A leading construction company is expanding into structural repair and is seeking a proactive Estimator to help shape and grow this new division. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established business at the ground level of a specialist unit, with full autonomy and the chance to make a lasting impact.

The Role :

You’ll be the go-to for estimating across a range of structural repair and civil engineering projects, working closely with the Bid Writer and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, commercially sound tenders. This role suits someone who thrives on variety, enjoys getting stuck in, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans for structural repair and concrete-related works
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical input
  • Collaborate with the Bid Writer to align pricing with strategic bid themes
  • Attend site visits and client meetings to scope works and assess risks
  • Support the development of estimating processes and tools as the division grows
  • Contribute to project handovers and ensure smooth transition from pre-construction to delivery
About You :
  • Proven experience estimating within civil engineering, structural repair, or concrete works
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your workload
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and help build something from the ground up
  • Able to thrive in a hybrid working setup with occasional office presence in Daresbury

This is more than just an estimating role, it’s a chance to help shape a new division, backed by the stability and reputation of an established brand. If you’re ready to bring your expertise, energy, and initiative to the table, we’d love to hear from you.
