Job description

SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Anglian Architectural Limited currently have an opening for a Senior Estimator in Aluminium Glazing Systems and/or Rainscreen Cladding to work at their office in Newmarket (or Gt. Massingham).

Hybrid or home working also available for individuals with extensive experience in estimating glazing & rainscreen systems.

Experience within the estimating/glazing industry a necessity with knowledge of glass, curtain wall, windows, doors and external cladding materials.

Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Logging enquiries to relevant databases;
• Review tender enquiry documents including contracts and specs
• Receive and evaluate prices for materials and sub-contractors;
• Take off quantities where necessary from drawings;
• Using estimating programmes such as SchuCal, Reynapro, Logikal etc to prepare detailed quotations, specifications and drawings;
• Logging and following up quotations;
• Liaising with Design Team and Purchasing to order correct materials;
• Attending meetings with clients or architects on site or via Teams, if required;
• Corresponding with clients, engineers or architects.
• Finalise any changes and submit price
• Attend and chair internal handover meetings for secured projects
• Co-ordinate and liaise with the projects department to review access and logistical elements of projects

The candidate will have good organisation, numeracy skills and attention to detail. You will be competent in the use of word, excel and outlook and be able to work well as part of a small busy team based in their Newmarket office and Great Massingham office (where required)

Salary is dependent upon experience so bracket - 35k to 70k.
