A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to support EIA activities and contribute to projects focused on renewable energy and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience in environmental consultancy, and a strong understanding of UK planning systems. This role offers a hybrid working model and competitive benefits.

You could be based across various UK locations (primarily London, Reading, Bristol, Taunton, Edinburgh or Brighton). We are open to other Stantec offices within commutable distance. At Stantec we redefine what is possible by solving key challenges around housing and infrastructure delivery, and by working on innovative projects in renewable energy (solar, battery storage and energy networks) and decarbonisation (carbon capture storage, transport and technology). You will contribute to building resilience to climate change and improving water quality through a range of water projects and will work across planning regimes (including NSIP / DCO and TCPA) to help clients safely meet objectives in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner.
