A leading multi-utilities infrastructure company is seeking a Senior Engineer in the Electricity & Power Sector. This home/field-based role covers Essex and Cambridgeshire, with a salary of £55-65K plus benefits. The successful candidate will assess electrical engineers and ensure compliance with safety standards. Candidates must be a Senior/Authorised person with experience in power distribution. Senior Engineer — Electricity & Power Sector

Home/Field Based covering Essex and Cambridgeshire.

£55-65K plus car/car allowance plus superb pension.

Are you a Senior/Authorised person in relation to Electricity networks (up to 33kV), looking for a regional position with a large, national multi-utilities infrastructure business?

This is a senior level, prestigious position where you will undertake the technical assessment of electrical engineers on electricity networks and be responsible for the Network Authorisations issued to operational Engineers.

The role offers an excellent package plus the opportunity to progress within a company renowned for its professionalism and for looking after its staff.

This is a great opportunity to use your experience and knowledge of the sector to assist and support staff and ensure their continued safety.

The role
  • Full time, permanent position with a large, national utilities infrastructure business.
  • Assess Electrical Engineers working on electricity networks, including identifying training requirements.
  • Work closely with the Safety and Technical Competence (STC) Manager to identify operational competency gaps.
  • Responsible for the Network Authorisations issued to operational Engineers.
The Person
  • Senior/Authorised Person and/or IEng in Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in power distribution, up to 33kV including knowledge of standards, policies and health and safety.
  • Experience of managing/leading engineers including training and development.
