A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide expert support on fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Element Digital Engineering is a leading provider of specialist engineering simulation, design, and consultancy support to clients across many industries – including Nuclear, Aerospace, Energy and Defence – in the UK and internationally. Our fluid flow, thermodynamics or heat transfer technical work covers everything from using experience‑based judgement and simple hand calculations, system level 1D modelling to detailed component level 2D/3D simulations. As Digital Engineering is part of the global Element Materials Technology group, our engineering consultancy services also support a range of Testing, Inspection and Certification projects via Element’s various laboratories.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Engineer with a strong consultancy mindset and demonstrable capability in a range of fluid flow, thermodynamics or heat transfer related topics.
Element are committed to the continued development of our in‑house, UK‑based, permanent staff capability for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermofluids. The position can be based in our Derby or Bristol offices, with hybrid/flexible working arrangements available.
This position would suit someone who is established in their career and looking to take the next step to further develop and to advance their technical capability.
