Qualifications

  • Minimum 5/6 years' PQE in employment law, ideally on the claimant side.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and handling employment disputes.
  • Ability to embrace and use legal technology in day-to-day functions.

Responsibilities

  • Advise employees on a wide range of employment disputes.
  • Negotiate exit packages and settlement agreements.
  • Help clients file employment tribunal claims if necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and mentor trainee solicitors.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions.

About the Role

We are expanding again and looking for a qualified Senior Employment Solicitor with experience in English employment law to join our team.

You’ll be working on claimant cases, focusing on negotiation, typically involving discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal and breach of contract.

This is a salaried position with a negotiable base and a generous commission structure, depending on experience.

Part‑time applicants (minimum 3 days/week) are welcome to apply.

You’ll have the support of a forward‑thinking team of senior and trainee solicitors and particularly sophisticated tech.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Advising employees on a wide range of employment disputes, mainly on No Win No Fee terms.
  • Negotiating exit packages and settlement agreements
  • Helping clients file employment tribunal claims where necessary
  • Embracing and using legal tech in your day‑to‑day work
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the legal development of trainee solicitor colleagues
  • Participating in monthly & quarterly team meetings (quarterly being in‑person in our London office, if you're based in London).
