Senior Electronics Engineer

Southampton

£65,000

Im recruiting on behalf of my client in Southampton for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing R&D team. This is a great opportunity to work on the next generation of premium consumer electronics within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

The Role
  • Design digital circuits (Microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC / ADC) and high-speed digital systems
  • Power supply design (linear and switch-mode)
  • Analogue circuit and audio filter design
  • PCB schematic capture and layout (including analogue, power, and FPC)
  • Prototyping, bench testing and EMC / ESD considerations
  • Supplier liaison and component sourcing
  • Full lifecycle involvement from concept to production
What Youll Need
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar)
  • Proven experience designing complex electronic products
  • Strong digital, analogue and high-speed design skills
  • Experience with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analysers)
  • Confident ECAD user (Altium 360 desirable)
  • Knowledge of safety, EMC and ESD standards
