Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical firm in Irvine is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a Mon-Fri day shift. This role involves providing comprehensive engineering support to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of the facility. Responsibilities include managing electrical defects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and overseeing contractor works. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical engineering, preferably within facilities maintenance, and relevant qualifications. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Electrical Engineering, ideally in a Facilities or maintenance role.
  • Good knowledge of Facilities plant and equipment is desirable.
  • Qualified to BS 7671 - 17th Edition IET or 18th Edition is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Close out all Facility Electrical defects & improvements.
  • Ensure production area meets all Quality & Regulation standards.
  • Troubleshoot Site CCTV, Net2 Access control & fire equipment.
  • Lead & Support Contractor control for electrical works.
  • Support purchasing process for maintenance tasks.
  • Manage Facilities Maintenance and track defects.
  • Support Facility type Capex works.
  • Carry out all site portable appliance testing.

Skills

Electrical Engineering experience
Preventative Planned Maintenance Management
Knowledge of Facilities plant and equipment
Computer competence (Microsoft Office, SAP)
Understanding of Building Management Systems
Qualified to City and Guilds Level 3
