Our client, a fast‑growing clean‑energy innovator transforming the way industries power their operations, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their expanding R&D team. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of advanced electrical architectures, drive innovative R&D programmes, and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver safe, reliable, high‑performance hydrogen‑powered technologies.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will :
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for hydrogen‑powered solutions, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with LV, MV, and HV standards.
  • Drive innovation across R&D projects, applying first‑principles thinking to develop and optimise next‑generation electrical technologies.
  • Manage and self‑lead engineering research activities, integrating mechanical and controls engineering considerations as required.
  • Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Mentor and support colleagues within the R&D team, promoting best practice and maintaining high technical standards.
