A leading contractor in design and build in the UK is seeking an experienced electrical designer to produce reports and designs in electrical, control & instrumentation. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant design role, with proven delivery of electrical installation designs in the pharmaceutical sector. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Utility industry standards is required. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement post-probation and includes a range of benefits.
Day to day you'll produce reports on the scope of works, concept design and detailed designs for electrical, control & instrumentation as well as completing site surveys of existing sites where required. You'll produce single line diagrams, block cable diagrams, electrical schematics and loop diagrams etc. We'll need you to produce documentation in accordance with defined standards / quality requirements along with handing sizing and modelling calculations for electrical OM cables.
