Position Overview

As a Senior Director Transaction Management at Kroll Agency and Trustee Services you will be a key senior member of the UK Transaction Management team reporting into the Head of Transaction Management UK.

This role will focus on the management and execution of complex loan and bond transactions. The position will also play a central role in the development of Krolls restructuring and special situations desk engaging closely with law firms, sponsors and other key market participants in collaboration with Business Development.

This is a client-facing leadership role that combines transaction management expertise with market engagement requiring a balance of technical knowledge, legal qualification and commercial acumen.

You must be able to maximise opportunities applying best practice and drive best in class service.

Requirements

You will ensure accurate and on-time delivery of all key task items including (but not limited to):

Transaction Management
  • Lead on the execution of complex transactions with a primary focus on restructurings, distressed situations across the loan and bond markets.
  • Support the development of Krolls bond market coverage contributing legal and technical expertise to broaden the platform's product capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of mandates acting as a senior escalation point for clients, intermediaries and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor transaction‑related KPIs contributing to reporting for management and identifying areas for improvement.
Market Engagement & Business Development
  • Work in partnership with Business Development to expand Krolls market presence in the trust and agency space.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with law firms, sponsors, lenders and advisors to drive new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on joint mandates and sales efforts, particularly Kroll Issuer Services and Kroll Restructuring teams.
  • Represent Kroll at conferences, forums and industry events raising the firm's profile in the loans and bonds market.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives designed to increase awareness of Krolls product suite across loans, bonds and restructuring.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Provide senior guidance, mentoring and technical input to colleagues across KATS.
  • Work closely with the Head of Transaction Management and with peers across Operations, Client Services and Business Development to ensure cohesion and best practice.
  • Collaborate across Krolls global platform to ensure consistency in delivery and contribute to the evolution of product expertise.
  • Act as a thought leader in the corporate trust and agency space helping to shape Krolls market presence and reputation.
Qualifications
  • Qualified lawyer with significant post‑qualification experience in corporate trust and agency.
  • Proven experience in transaction management, restructuring or related roles at a bank, trustee law firm or independent agency and trustee provider.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and develop client relationships particularly with law firms and sponsors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to represent Kroll publicly and influence senior stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and jurisdictions.
