WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at leasttwo days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Leeds office
As a Senior DevOps Engineer within the General Insurance (GI) Platform, you’ll be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintainability of scalable DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks that empower our Feature and Lab teams to deliver faster, safer, and more reliable outcomes. You'll technically influence tooling choices, promote standards, advocate DevOps principles.
You’ll feel excited by the prospect of making lasting positive impact through:
Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across multiple environments
Architect and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable deployments.
Lead the orchestration and automation of infrastructure and application deployments using tools like Kubernetes, Docker and Harness
Collaborate with teams across our Platform to recommend and implement the right DevOps tooling and automation strategies aligned with our enterprise architecture
Continuously improve deployment processes, monitoring, and incident response to ensure high availability and performance
Stay up to date with emerging technologies such as AI-driven DevOps, observability platforms and Agentic automation frameworks
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Identify and drive improvements in existing systems, processes, and security practices, contributing to initiatives
Manage and track budgets related to DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective solutions
Encourage collaboration and documentation to promote consistency in approaches across team
