Senior Design Engineer Mains Renewal Programme

Are you ready to make a real impact in a rapidly growing and forward-thinking organisation? We re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering a major mains renewal programme across the Midlands.

The Role:
  • Leading a team of 4 Design Engineers and 2 Assistant Design Engineers.
  • Conducting feasibility assessments and designing technical solutions from concept through to detailed design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to agree design milestones and project scope.
  • Contributing to commissioning plans, costings, and project governance.
  • Ensuring designs meet standards, risk management is proactive, and Health & Safety is integrated into all projects.
  • Reviewing and validating third-party designs to ensure delivery to agreed specifications.
What We re Looking For:
  • Experience in a similar role providing designs and specifications for construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (as travel across sites is required).
