What You'll Be Doing

• Review and underwrite substantial finance deals within delegated authority
• Shape and enhance credit policies, deal structuring, and credit administration
• Collaborate across teams to reduce risk and safeguard the business
• Provide outstanding service while balancing commercial opportunity with risk management

What You'll Bring

• At least 5 years' experience in credit underwriting - ideally within SME asset finance (hard/soft assets) or SME commercial loans (including short-term loans)
• Strong grasp of SME and corporate cashflows and robust analysis of financial statements
• A thorough understanding of the credit process, with deep knowledge of leasing
• Self-motivation, commercial acumen, and the ambition to help grow the credit function
