Qualifications

  • MRCPsych or equivalent required.
  • In good standing with GMC with respect to warning or conditions on practice.
  • Ability to teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and treatment of mental health conditions.
  • Manage and supervise junior medical staff.
  • Participate in service planning activity.

Skills

Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to manage clinical complexity
Leadership in team settings

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
Fully registered with the GMC
Approved Clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months
Clinical qualifications in education, research, or management
