Overview

Job Title: Senior Consultant - Environmental Permitting
Location: West Midlands

We're seeking a Senior Consultant in Environmental Permitting to lead and deliver a wide range of projects, from permitting and pollution prevention to waste management licensing, risk assessments and environmental audits. This role combines technical delivery with project management, client liaison, and mentoring colleagues.

You'll play a key part in shaping environmental strategies, carrying out site inspections and modelling (e.g. dispersion, landfill gas), and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. The role offers scope to develop line management responsibilities and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver projects across permitting, pollution prevention, waste management licensing, risk assessments and environmental audits.
  • Shape environmental strategies and carry out site inspections and environmental modelling (e.g. dispersion, landfill gas).
  • Manage projects to ensure delivery on time and to budget.
  • Mentor colleagues and provide technical guidance.
  • Develop opportunities in line with business growth and contribute to client liaison and relationship management.
