Qualifications

• Experience of providing radiation safety advice in radiology.
• Experience in performance testing of a range of DR modalities.
• Experience in interpreting situations and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage implementation and audit of legislation and codes of practice in radiation safety.
• Deliver comprehensive scientific and technical support services.
• Provide expert radiation protection advice to hospital staff and patients.

Skills

Ability to understand and operate diagnostic imaging equipment

Ability to analyze complex data

Good verbal and written communication skills

Education

HCPC Registered clinical scientist

Certificated RWA

Certificated MPE

Certificated RPA

Completion of HSST or equivalent experience
