A leading health research program is looking for a Senior Community Engagement Officer to foster engagement with underrepresented communities across the UK. Candidates should have strong project management skills and experience engaging diverse communities. The position offers flexibility with remote working and competitive benefits including a £40,000 salary and generous pension contributions.
Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent, and treat diseases. The ambition of Our Future Health differs from other large UK population cohorts in terms of scale and the aim to recruit much higher numbers of participants from groups who are not well represented in research i.e. ethnic minorities, younger people and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.
To support the delivery of our diversity work, the Senior Community Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing approaches to engage underrepresented communities.
