As a Senior Commercial Counsel, EMEA, you’ll …

  • Be a founding member of Webflow’s international legal footprint, building out our EMEA legal function and GTM legal playbook in close coordination with the global legal team
  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to sales leadership on complex commercial deals and contractual matters across SMB to large enterprise clients
  • Lead negotiations and successfully close a variety of sophisticated commercial contracts with diverse EMEA companies and organizations, including but not limited to SaaS deals, channel/distribution/reseller agreements, DPAs, professional services agreements, marketing, NDAs, and vendor contracts on an as-needed basis
  • Navigate, anticipate, and proactively manage risks from applicable emerging and rapidly-evolving EMEA regulatory and jurisdiction-specific requirements (e.g., Privacy and AI technologies)
  • Design and implement scalable contract frameworks, playbooks, resources, and processes to support and enable our fast-growing EMEA sales organization
  • Provide triage support to the US-based legal team for general (non-commercial) company requests on an as-needed basis

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role.

  • Have deep experience drafting and negotiating both high-touch and high-volume commercial agreements in multi-jurisdictional contexts, especially B2B/Enterprise SaaS
  • Know privacy inside‑out (GDPR, cross‑border transfers, DPAs) and are comfortable advising (and educating) business teams as they navigate these novel and evolving hurdles in commercial negotiations
  • Excel at providing practical, actionable, and risk-balanced advice with legal discipline
  • Are a bold self‑starter who thrives in a high‑velocity, change‑oriented culture and enjoys building from the ground up and wearing multiple hats
