Job description

Excellent opportunity with a highly respected independent chartered insurance brokerage in the Leeds area. This quality business is experiencing an excellent period of growth and has created this brand new role within their mid-market team, supporting the Account Executives.

In this role, you will be dealing with a wide variety of commercial risks, with annual premium spends of anywhere between £20k and £500k, although the majority will be between £20k and £100k, with a smaller number of larger corporate cases.

You will assist with new business by compiling submissions and negotiating with insurers, you will be sealing with MTA’s, marketing and negotiating renewals. This role will involve regular contact with clients and insurers + working closely with the team/
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance broking, with previous use of Acturis system and be making progress towards ACII studies (which will be fully supported).

This role would be perfect for an ambitious broker, perhaps currently working with SME clients but keen to move up into mid-market or and experienced mid-market broker looking for a change of scenery.

This role comes with an excellent salary, annual bonus, genuine career progression and flexible working, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
