Job summary

A healthcare organization in Aberystwyth is seeking two Principal Clinical Technologists. The successful candidates will lead the Clinical Engineering department, operating across two sites and managing around 30,000 medical devices. Responsibilities include team leadership, ensuring device compliance, and project ownership related to medical devices. Applicants with a BSc in Clinical Technology or similar, and experience in clinical engineering, are preferred. Welsh language skills are desirable, enhancing communication with patients and professionals.

Qualifications

  • Registered Clinical Technologist with relevant professional memberships.

  • Experience in clinical engineering settings and specialization in ventilation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical engineering activities and oversight of medical devices.
  • Lead a team of Technologists and administration staff.
  • Ensure compliance and performance of medical devices.
  • Ownership of specific medical device related projects.
