Qualifications

  • Pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
  • Post Graduate Clinical Diploma or equivalent.
  • Independent Prescriber qualification or working towards this qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and directorate support to the Care of Older Adults Directorate.
  • Support the Principal pharmacists for Division 2 and Division 3.
  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy advice and liaise with consultants/nursing teams.

Skills

Recent and relevant experience working as a clinical pharmacist in secondary care.
Knowledge and experience of General and Older Adult Medicine
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Experience in supervising, training and assessing staff
Experience working in an outpatient clinic

Education

Pharmacist registered with the GPhC
Post Graduate Clinical Diploma or equivalent
