Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of complex North American Property claims.
- Manage a high caseload of claims, investigating and applying policy coverage.
- Recognise and address customer complaints or dissatisfaction.
- Oversee and coordinate external service providers for quality and cost.
- Stay current with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain technical expertise through development activities.
- Foster communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to team development through peer reviews and audits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of complex North American Property claims across Open Market and Binding Authority business.
- Manage a high caseload of claims, investigating and analysing details to correctly apply policy coverage. Accurately reserve claims in line with company standards, proactively negotiate and settle cases, and consistently uphold Lloyd's/company service expectations.
- Recognise and address customer complaints or expressions of dissatisfaction, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated promptly and in compliance with the company's Complaints Policy and Procedures.
- Oversee and coordinate external service providers, monitoring both quality and costs to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to required service levels.
- Stay current with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, taking responsibility for compliance and maintaining strong awareness of control measures.
- Continuously build and maintain technical expertise and behavioural competencies through personal development activities.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders—including Underwriting, Actuarial, Brokers, and Key Accounts—on matters such as claim notifications, progress updates, and insured requirements within agreed SLAs.
- Contribute to team development by conducting regular peer reviews and audits.
