A leading insurance provider is looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster in London. This role involves managing a variety of claims, ensuring accurate financials, and developing strategies for high-exposure cases. This is an important role in our growing Transportation portfolio. This individual will be responsible for handling claims in a diverse and complex claims portfolio arising from (inter alia) our cargo, freight liability, pleasure craft, yacht, fine art & specie classes, ATA carnet, inland marine, ocean marine, aviation, RoV and other lines to support evolving business needs and change. The individual will be part of a leading market team which promotes a culture of diligence, curiosity, positivity and inclusion within the organization.
The individual will be expected to take a proactive approach to the management of claims and to provide a quality claims service, which pays valid claims promptly and sets reserves in line with our reserving philosophy whilst taking account of applicable regulatory requirements. This individual will take the lead on continuous improvements in the reserving and settlement process of losses in collaboration with other key stakeholders.
