Job description

Unique opportunity for a Senior Claims Adjuster in their Claims Department for their Casualty business.

• Location: Birmingham
• Category: Claims

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Responsibility for a caseload of technical liability claims in key Company jurisdictions with particular focus on UK and Ireland.
• Proven expertise and handling of losses valued in excess of GBP250,000.
• Maintaining operational and technical oversight of key outsource arrangements
• Ensuring accuracy of financial recording and reporting under referral to management.
• Acting as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid experience of Pre-action Protocols, Portal of Low Value Personal Injury Claims, Compensation Recovery Unit, and London Market processes and procedures
• Experience of multi-jurisdictional primary and excess layer claims also helpful.
• Excellent UK technical claims handling experience.
• Enthusiasm to develop and train team members to support ongoing career progression.
• Accountable for decision making and will act honestly and ethically at all times.
