Job description

Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Salary: 45k - 55k plus yearly bonus, hybrid working and other benefits

Emtech are working with an established Engineering Consultancy who have been working in the UK for 20+ years. They are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Nottingham city centre team. The role involves the delivery of high quality infrastructure designs (roads and drainage) associated a broad range of development projects.

Recent projects include the provision of civil engineering designs associated with building developments and public realm projects, from the early masterplanning stage through to delivery of solutions on site, highway infrastructure projects and a wide range of education, residential and large scale re-development projects.

This role represents a key position within the civil engineering team, with the successful candidate assisting in the development and growth of the team.

Experience Required

• Highway and pavement design associated with building projects
• Undertaking of designs for section 38, 278 and 104 agreements
• Good knowledge of civil engineering construction principles and standards, and confidence in your knowledge of relevant design standards and legislation
• Strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and used Civil 3D for ground modelling, road and drainage design
• Experienced leading on projects and managing client relationships
• Team management
• Finance monitoring of projects
