Job summary

A leading childcare provider in Rugby is seeking a Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker to support the daily lives of young people. This role includes leading a team to deliver high-quality care and ensuring children are well-supported while transitioning to adulthood. Salary: £36,231 – £40,640 (assuming good attendance and up to 4 sleep‑ins per month)

Working in our Children's Homes means being part of a young person's day‑to‑day life. You will support the team to deliver high‑quality care and help the children transition to adulthood. We value compassion, resilience and a team spirit.

Key Responsibilities

As a shift leader you will:

  • Provide everyday support to young people and ensure their wellbeing.
  • Support and motivate the staff team, maintaining high standards of care.
  • Deputise for the Team Leaders when required.
  • Build positive relationships with the children and staff.
  • Start your role as an RSW with 4 weeks of Care Academy training.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Can‑do attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves.
  • Honesty, empathy and genuine care for young people.
  • Resilience to face challenging situations.
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
  • No Level 3 Diploma required – we will fund your study if you do not have one.
