A healthcare provider in Dudley is seeking a Senior Care Support Worker to join their Emergency Department. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care and effective communication with the healthcare team and patients. Candidates should be able to recognize changes in patient conditions and participate in ongoing training. The position offers flexible working options and opportunities for professional development.
The successful applicant will be working in a Multidisciplinary Team within the Emergency Department, ensuring patients admitted to the Unit receive a high standard of care, whilst continuing to achieve both National and Local Targets. The Senior Care Support Worker will together with members of the Nursing team and contribute to the implementation of a high standard and individualised patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives and must be able to recognise and report to the appropriate person any changes in the patient's condition which may require the intervention of others.
