Senior Care Practitioner Days.St Helens Hall Care Home

  • Hourly Rate : £14.45per hour
  • Shift : 3-4 daysper week, 8am-8pm on a '3 on 3 off' rota
  • Contracted Hours : 38.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced Senior Carer with a passion for providing outstanding care? Join the St Helens Hall Care Home team, where your dedication can shine in a warm and resident-focused environment. Our 94-bed home for older adults is celebrated for its compassionate care, rated ‘Good’ across all areas by the CQC, and honoured with multiple awards.

As a SeniorCare Assistant, your responsibilities will include :

  • Completing necessary training and ongoing professional development
  • Providing personal care, supporting residents’routines, and assisting with individual needs
  • Offering emotional support and companionship
  • Ensuring residents feel safe, secure, and comfortable throughout the night
  • Maintaining high care standards and a calm environment
  • Supervising and supporting the staff team, including conducting appraisals, maintaining records, liaising with external professionals, and assisting with recruitment

What We Are Looking For :
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A warm and caring personality with a passion for supporting others
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to work towards one)
  • Confidence in using technology and maintaining accurate records
  • Resilience and the ability to provide guidance under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of our residents
