We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care within a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensure that new needs are met, and amend written records to reflect any variation.
  • Involve yourself in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring that reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You

  • Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
