Overview of the Job

Do you work as a Senior Care Assistant with compassion and dedication? Our ideal applicant will be passionate about giving our nursing home’s residents excellent care. This position includes keeping an eye on residents’ health, helping them with everyday tasks, and maintaining a secure and encouraging atmosphere. In order to improve residents’ quality of life and encourage their independence, the Senior Care Assistant will collaborate closely with them.

Duties

• Providing person-centred care by leading and assisting the night care team.
• Conducting routine inspections and immediately attending to residents’ needs throughout the night.
• Providing personal care and other overnight assistance to residents.
• Ensuring the safety and security of the house all night long.
• Supporting care plans
• To guarantee comprehensive treatment, work together with social workers, family members, and medical specialists.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a care setting is necessary.
• Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3 (or aiming for it).
• Self-assured in decision-making and team leadership.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Calm, caring, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.

The employee will cover the cost of providing a complete enhanced disclosure. The chosen applicant will work four evenings a week from 19:15 to 07:45. The successful applicant will receive a Certificate of Sponsorship, however you must already be a resident of the United Kingdom.
