The role of a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating care plans, supporting medication requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals.
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person‑centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
