As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. This role involves planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and maintain accurate records. Building strong relationships within your team is essential.
Ideally, you will have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and effective time management are crucial.
