Planning and implementing the kind of care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. Get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans. Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care, acting as a positive influence on the team. Support residents by showing how to use mobility aids, assisting at the end of life, and communicating with families as needed, all with kindness. Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with your team. Ideally, you\'ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification, or equivalent. A background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia is preferred. Essential qualities include positive energy, the ability to get along with people, good record-keeping, time management, and a caring, considerate approach in all interactions.
