Job description
Overview

We are a busy department providing a wide range of invasive and non‑invasive diagnostic investigations including:

  • ECG and ambulatory monitoring
  • Exercise tolerance tests
  • Echocardiography (including TTE, TOE and bubble echo)
  • Pacing, ILR and complex device follow‑up
  • Cath lab services (including angiograms and pacing and ILR implants)

As a band 3 cardiographer you will be a senior member of the ECG team and will be responsible for performing ECGs, fitting ambulatory monitors and assisting in exercise tolerance tests. The post holder will ensure that all inpatient diagnostic requests are planned and prioritised within the day‑to‑day running of the department. Training of junior members of the team is also required. There will also be a level of administration duties involved in the role, including ordering of stock.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Cardiac Physiology team at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a candidate who has had previous experience of working with patients in a healthcare environment with previous ECG recording experience and who also has knowledge of ambulatory monitors.
