Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (2:1 or above) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical cable system design and substations.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within the power sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of projects (11kV-400kV), ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Develop technical solutions and guidelines on all aspects of cable design.
• Review and approve specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Produce design cost estimates, resource plans, and delivery programmes.
• Manage site surveys for multiple assessments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to tenders and mentor junior engineers.
• Attend site visits and stakeholder meetings as required.
