Job summary

A leading international low-carbon energy organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Buyer to support major UK infrastructure projects on a contract basis. This pivotal role requires strong procurement leadership and engagement with senior stakeholders. You will oversee sourcing and contracting strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with sustainability and governance requirements. The ideal candidate has significant experience in complex CAPEX projects and is available to start ASAP.

Location: London 1-2 days a week

Contract: 6 months (MAT cover potential extension 9-12 months)

A leading international low-carbon energy organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Buyer to support major UK infrastructure and EPC projects. This is a high-impact contract role with strong senior stakeholder exposure.

The Role

You will lead end-to-end procurement for complex CAPEX projects, translating project requirements into effective sourcing and contracting strategies. Working closely with project, commercial, legal, and finance teams, you will drive value across cost, risk, delivery, and sustainability.
