Senior Business Development Manager (Finance) – Great Role for a BD Manager Stepping Up

Are you a Business Development Manager ready for a step up into a Senior BD Manager role? If so, this could be the role for you. This ambitious global law firm is looking for a Senior BD Manager aligned to the firm’s finance group. The firm has a particular specialism in finance work within the energy and infrastructure sectors, so if you have a particular interest or knowledge of these sectors, this would be a bonus. You will act as the second-in-command to the Head of Business Development for the finance group, gaining significant responsibility. This is a full mix role with line management responsibilities, which will involve:

  1. Leading all the business development and marketing for the infrastructure and energy groups within the finance division. This is the largest group and of strategic importance to the firm.
  2. Acting as a strategic advisor to the partners on business development strategy for the group and areas for growth.
  3. Leading on major bids, pitches, and proposals for the group, as well as managing the pitch pipeline.
  4. Identifying the group’s most important clients and implementing growth plans for these clients.
  5. Developing brand-building initiatives such as thought leadership campaigns, links with trade bodies, and PR initiatives.

You will be an experienced Business Development Manager within a major international law firm, ideally with exposure to finance/banking and/or the energy and infrastructure sectors. You should be highly credible, with the ability to influence and persuade, as well as possessing excellent writing skills.
