Overview:

Insurance Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically in Casualty lines. This remote contract role supports high-impact initiatives within the Lloyd’s of London insurance and reinsurance ecosystem.

Key Qualifications:

  • 10–15 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in the insurance industry, with a focus on P&C and Casualty lines.
  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst working across Claims, Policy, and Underwriting functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Lloyd’s of London market and its regulatory framework.
  • Strong background in insurance/reinsurance operations and supporting technologies.
  • Skilled in data analysis and experienced with reporting tools for delivering business insights.
  • Expertise in producing high-quality documentation: business cases, specifications, wireframes, and report templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users to gather, validate, and analyze requirements.
  • Convert business needs into detailed technical specifications and documentation.
  • Organize and facilitate brainstorming workshops for solution design and planning.
  • Prepare clear and structured business requirements and functional documentation.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and metrics.
  • Partner closely with IT teams throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.
