AtkinsRéalis is an international company emphasizing staff training, development, and expertise. Due to growth, we seek a Building Surveyor for our team in Epsom, working within the Chichester and West Sussex area.

The Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects across sectors, providing comprehensive building surveying duties.
• Conducting feasibility studies, preparing specifications, obtaining estimates and statutory approvals, and administering refurbishment contracts.
• Applying standard building contracts such as JCT and NEC.
• Providing professional building surveying services.
• Mentoring junior Building Surveyors in the APC program.
• Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental principles are integrated into project management.
• Supporting senior managers in daily activities.
• Line management of junior surveyors.
• Performing surveys, inspections, and scheme management in the Southwest East Region.
• Contributing to fee proposals and bids.

The Requirements:

• B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or equivalent, RICS-accredited.

• Strong technical surveying knowledge and experience.

• Mentoring and project management experience.
• Technical documentation skills, including bids.
• Full health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
