Qualifications

  • Experience undertaking basic maintenance tasks (e.g. testing, flushing systems, changing bulbs etc.).
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year's previous experience working in a domestic/maintenance services role within a Hospital/NHS environment.
  • Experience supervising large staff groups.
  • Experience carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, checks and testing across maintenance and domestic services.
Knowledge
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Understanding of the correct application of manual handling techniques and working at heights.
  • Sound understanding of the quality aspects related to cleaning, routine maintenance and food handling.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
